The Perfect Way to Wear Leopard

Leggings | Top | Sunglasses | Shoes | Earrings and Necklace

Leopard print has always been a favorite in my wardrobe. I think it gets a bad wrap due to preconceived notions of the types of people who wear it, but I do believe that has changed. Most people like it and want to give their wardrobes a little touch of it. Styling leopard is not that hard. You can basically mix and match it with different colors and other clothing and it just adds so much to the ordinary outfit.

For example. I have red shoes here in these pictures. I love red with leopard, but want to know what else I love with it? I love hot pink! I even think you can get away with blush pink and I have seen baby blue with it. There are so many different ways to style it and just change up the ordinary look. I have even seen a leopard skirt with a plaid top! And it looked amazing!!!

This top is Karlie brand, which is a boutique brand and I cannot find it anywhere. I have linked several similar styles below. If you know of a store that carries this brand, check out this top. I have to talk about these leggings also. If you have been following me, you know of my love for Spanx leggings. Well, I have found another brand. It actually holds me in tighter and lifts me more and costs 50% less. It is called Shapermint. You might have seen the ads on Facebook. You know the ones, the girl with the least flattering dress possible and her rolls are all over. She pulls on her Shapermint and looks smooth and sleek! They do work that good!

I am sitting here watching Crazy Rich Asians. Have you seen it? I like it a lot. It is more of a romantic comedy, which I feel ever since Hallmark took over, you hardly see them on the big screen any more. This movie has such classic styles and designers. It makes me realize just why I love fashion!

When I was growing up, we really didn’t know what fashion was. We thought Esprit was high fashion! Then I got to Auburn and decided to major in fashion. I took a class with this great professor and he taught me all about fashion and fashion designers. Here I was this little small town Alabama girl trying to pronounce Louis Vuitton the correct way! He taught me about my first designer perfume, Bijan. I begged my mom to get it for me and it just smelled so wonderful! I wore it all the time through college.

My love for fashion is the one reason I got into blogging and I hope to bring more of it alive in my posts. It is hard to post about these designers, because let’s face it, most of the items are super costly and not very convenient to wear. But just seeing the inspirations is worth it all in my opinion.

I hope that everyone has had a great week! I am getting ready to help with sorority rush.

Later!

Kara
