Dylan’s Candy Bar and London are here today!!!

So, my photographer is out of town and I was not feeling a selfie today, so I thought I would share my new shipment from Dylan’s Candy Bar with you. For those of you that don’t know, Dylan’s Candy Bar was started by Ralph Lauren’s daughter. She did not want to go in to the family business of fashion and she always loved candy, so she opened a candy store. The main location is in New York and I have made it a must see destination when I have been there. It is like Candyland for grown-ups. There is all different kinds of candy there and some precious novelty items. It even has an old fashioned soda fountain that has all kinds of great treats. I absolutely love candy, all kinds, so when I found out about this store, I had to go. It was everything that I had imagined.  If you have a favorite candy, I am pretty sure it is there. They even have these fantastic chocolate bars in cool flavors, like bacon and chocolate. There is even what I call time period candy, which is candy from the 50’s, etc. that you cannot really find anywhere.

I am a preferred customer, shocking, I know. The other day I got an email and I went to the site to check it out. I found the gigantic candy float. These floats are so hot this year and I could not resist getting one from my favorite store. I then saw some cute items for the dog. I found this cute dog dish and treats container. These are just adorable and perfect for my dog. The bones around the outside are in a trademark rainbow look that so much of her stuff has. Last but not least are the sticky notes. I love post-its, I pretty much own stock in them. When I saw these, I just knew I had to have them. I know they won’t last long at my house, but I got them anyway. I am probably going to try not to use them until I am out of my others!

Here is my angel. His name is London. He is a rescue dog and I feel like he is the best dog ever. He is so laid back, people even ask me if I give him Valium! I always tell people to never buy a purebred dog, always remember to rescue. Rescue dogs are the best and this sweet little guy is tops!!
