Best Eye Care Products for Tired Eyes

My eyes sure do show when I am tired! Lately, they have looked more tired than ever! I have not been getting sleep and you can tell. Another thing you can also see, my age. My eyes definitely show my age and I hate it!!! All of the abuse I did to the skin around my eyes when I was younger is starting to show.

I remember when I first started taking my eye makeup off. I was young and had just started wearing makeup and needed to remove my eye makeup. So, I got my cotton balls and would get my Estee Lauder eye makeup remover and glide them over my eyes. No tugging!!! There was a little residue left, but I just got more cotton balls, more eye makeup remover and started the process over again. It was good, until I had a friend who tugged and she seemed to get it all off in one swipe.

She would get her Ponds cold cream and put some on each eye and rub like crazy! She looked like she had beaten! She would then get the cotton ball and wipe off the eye makeup! No having to reapply the eye makeup remover, it all came off easily. I decide that was what I needed to do and so I did. I did this until I hit the ripe old age of 40! That was when I began to notice the wrinkles and I was not happy.

I began to do research and also found out that in addition to my nightly routine, my skin under my eyes was dry and needed moisture. When your skin is dry, it creates wrinkles. This is when you need the proper moisturizer for your eyes in order to decrease the look of these wrinkles as well.

I have since been on the lookout for the best eye creams ever since I have noticed these signs of aging. I mean I have used every single product out there!! Here is a list of some of the ones I have used lately and loved. The prices range from inexpensive all the way to a luxury item.

The eye cream from Ocea Naturals is really good. It is 100% natural and has ingredients that are botanicals. It has ocean based retinol and helps to provide moisture, as well as minimize fine lines around the eyes.

Bubblewrap from Glossier is a great product that works with time. You begin to use it and eventually you begin to see the results. It does work and it works great and a plus, you can also use it on your lips!!!

Neutrogena has a great product from their hydro boost line. This line is perfect for providing moisture to dry areas of the skin. It is not a moisturizer, it provides the moisture that our skin needs to keep it from getting that dried out crepey look! This one is perfect for doing just that.

Longevity eye complex by Osmotics is really good and helps the eyes in all areas. It does not just target dryness, but it helps more for long term care by helping with any sun damage the skin might have.

Lastly, is 3-in-1 by Colorescience. This product provides a sunscreen that is perfect for use to help protect against daily exposure. Not only does it help with the signs of aging, but it also helps in reducing puffiness and dark circles. It is just an overall great product for everyday care.

It is so important to take good care of the skin around your eyes. Be sure that you find a good product or two and use them regularly. If you do this, you will prevent much of the signs of aging. Also, take care of this skin. No tugging!!!!

Anyway, hope your week is going well! I am on my last week of summer school and get ready, closet cleanout is coming soon!!!

Later!
