The Midi Slip Dress your Closet Needs

This is the perfect midi dress that your closet needs. When I first saw this on the rack at Target, I fell in love. Actually, it was not this actual dress, but one that was a gorgeous gold color. Think Kate Hudson in “How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days.” It was stunning, but I did not think I would honestly get as much wear out of it. So, when I saw this color, I knew it was a must-have.

A slip dress is a necessity for all closets to have, add to it that the length is midi, and it is just the perfect blend of dressy and casual. You can dress it up or down and wear it for several types of occasions. You have a cocktail event, get dressier shoes and accessories, have a more casual event, use more casual accessories and shoes. There is no occasion that is off-limits to wearing a midi slip dress. I wore mine to a dressier event and decided to toss on this kimono because I am a little self-conscious of my weight right now, so I put that on, added some great shoes and jewelry and I felt ready to go. It was the perfect outfit to feel comfortable in for such an event.

This midi slip dress comes in three colors and quite honestly, I would love to have it in one of each! It is super affordable at less than $25! The shoes are old Tory Burch, but I did find some similar from Target for you to look at. And they are less than $35. The kimono is also from Target and it is older, but I did find some fun styles that give a similar look.

I hope that everyone has had a good week. Mine has just been long! Something about four day weeks, they seem to last longer than the typical five day week. I am getting ready for the first home football game this weekend. We are supposed to wear all white, but honestly, that is not happening. I cannot even imagine how dirty a white dress will get sitting around at a tailgate and then sitting in the stands. I have a great dress that I am dying to wear that is so cute, I will take a pic and post it on Saturday.
