When I was taking these pictures, I swear I felt like a million dollars. My hair was doing good and everything seemed fine. Well, the more we shot, the muggier it got and my hair just went crazy!! Curly hair and this humidity just don’t mix! So, when I got the pictures back, I really was not happy, at all. I feel like my hair is just yuck!!! I got a Brazilian blowout one time, and I think it might be time to get another one. That was the best my hair ever looked! Be on the lookout for that update! They really do work!!!
Anyway, back to the outfit. This whole outfit is old. I did this crazy thing called shop my closet, and I managed to find a whole lot of items, with the tags still on them (gasp)!!!!! I just knew I had to start wearing them and I felt that even though they were a couple of years old, that I could update the looks to make them look fresh and modern, and that is just what I did.
This suede skirt is real suede and it is from Loft. Like I said, it is about two years old, so they have different styles and the fake suede that is just as good as the real. So, you need to check them out. The shoes I got last year, so they are not that old. I got them at an after Christmas clearance sale and I paid like $30 for them. I have linked some similar ones below.
I like to dress down the suede skirt. There was a time when you wore leather or suede and it was strictly for dress up. Not any more!!! You can wear it in a more casual way. So, I decided to pair it with this casual, striped tee and then top it off with this chambray button down. I am so excited about this skirt, that I plan on finding other ways to wear it also, so be on the look out for how I change this style.
This time of year is my favorite. I have already gotten most of my Christmas decorations up! I will be posting them as soon as I get finished. It is also such a struggle to stay healthy. I have been trying so hard to get some weight off after I had the four months from hell and it has been so hard!! Once you have fallen off the wagon, it is hard to get back on! I have decided to stick with Weight Watchers. It is not a gimmick and you can actually eat and be healthy and maintain that lifestyle. I am going to document my journey and share some of my favorite recipes with you all!! I am really going to make an effort to stay healthy during the holidays and not blow up and let go!
Did you know this is the season for miracles? Are you believing for a miracle? I know I am! Let’s believe together! After all, anything can happen!
