Snake Print Essentials to Add to your Wardrobe

Snake print is one of those animal prints, it took a while for me to get on board with. Maybe it is because I grew up in the South and we had snakes aplenty, including the very large venomous ones. They would frequent our roads, yards, bodies of water, and they even could get inside our houses. I remember one day my brother and I had just gotten home from school and were in the kitchen looking for something to snack on. We looked down and low and behold curled up in a corner was a snake! We both freaked and went running to our neighbors in hopes that someone over there could handle this situation. So, you see, the trauma has not left and snake print has just not topped my list of animal prints. However, that has since changed.

I have begun to see snake print around, in different styles of clothing. And you know what? I actually like it. Snake print, along with all other animal prints, is great when worn minimally. What I mean by that is pick one piece of the snake print and wear it, but don’t try to go head to toe snake print. That is just too much. When you only pick one piece, kind of like an accent piece, it can create a more classy look for animal print.

I chose a few essentials to add to my wardrobe. There is a jacket, such as the one pictured here. This is perfect with an outfit that is more of a solid color. I chose black for this one, but there are so many other ways you could go with this. You could even add a pop of color to add this look. Think red or hot pink.

There are snake print pants, skirts, and tops that are so cute and so stylish. These are perfect with a black or white or other neutral. Or you can get daring and add that pop of color to add to them. With the pants, think of a fun color for the top. For a snake print top, you can do colored pants. You can go as bright or pastel as you want and the colors would go with snake print.

Dresses even come in snake print. The possibilities with a snake print dress are endless! From neutral colored shoes to brightly colored ones, there is so much in the line of accessories that can be added to snake print.

Speaking of accessories! Let’s not leave those out. There are shoes aplenty in snake print. Let’s start with sneakers and go all the way to thigh-high boots. If you want some type of footwear in snake print, it is there. There are even shoes that are half-snake print and half solid color! Purses and clutches are also sporting a snake print look nowadays. They are perfect to toss on with a cute outfit and then to make them even more fun, get a brightly colored scarf that accents your outfit and tie it on the handle of the purse!

Snake print is an essential animal print to add to any wardrobe. You don’t need to be afraid of wearing it and styling it, because pretty much anything goes. Just be sure that you like what you are wearing and how you are wearing it. And remember, with snake print, you don’t have to worry about ever getting bit!
