Sequin Christmas Outfit

I love the look of sequins with a casual sweater. This is the perfect outfit for Christmas. To me, everyone needs a sequin skirt in their wardrobe. Once you have the skirt, you can dress it up or down. I like to do both. Above is a more casual, yet dressy look. Here are the details:

The clutch is Talbot’s, but mine is sold out because I got it a few years ago. I am linking one below.

It is just like mine, but the print is lighter. It is from Ann Taylor and it is made with the calf hair. Ann Taylor makes great bags, so if you add this to your wardrobe, you will not be disappointed.

My shoes are J Crew. And yes, I got them several years ago also, which just goes to show you how great their shoes hold up. Below I am linking a similar pair from Ann Taylor.

These are very much like mine. They have the kitten heel, which makes them easier to wear without hurting your feet. They are made of calf hair and I just cannot say enough about Ann Taylor shoes and their comfort. They are fantastic and fit true to size, and my feet are a little wide near the toes.

The skirt is great and has a cute slide slit. The slit is perfect and not too high. This skirt was found at a boutique. I have linked the skirt below. The fit is true to size. I got a large, which is perfect for me, especially since this is more of a pencil type skirt.

The button down is from Old Navy. It is a black watch plaid pattern, which I love. They actually have several different plaid patterns that are perfect for Christmas, so be sure to check them out. This shirt fits a little large. I bought a large, but quite honestly could have gotten a medium and I am a little large in the chest. It is a flannel material, so keep that in mind, but is a very soft material.

The sweater is from Target and their line A New Day. It has two side slits and I love the classic cable knit look. This sweater is rather large, so I suggest trying it on. If you like a larger, longer fit, you could size up. In some things I wear a large, but in this I could have easily gotten away with a medium. I did stick with the large so that it would be roomy enough to wear a shirt underneath.

Last but not least, is the necklace. I got this necklace from Target. It is from the Sugarfix line by BaubleBar. I love it, it was not expensive and it is perfect to dress up any outfit. It is not too large and not a heavy necklace.

This is just one of my favorite Christmas looks. I will have more, but I just wanted to show a more casual look for the sequin skirt. Sequins are not just for formal occasions!
