The Perfect Sweater for Fall

This is definitely the perfect sweater for fall. You can even wear it into winter, if you live in the south that is! It is very lightweight and has that tunic swing that goes perfect with leggings and skinny jeans. The cowl neck makes it even that much cozier. It is a good cowl neck that does not smother you and make you feel like you can’t breathe. I got this sweater from a boutique and the brand is Dreamers. I cannot link it, because they only got one shipment in and it seemed to sell out. So, be on the lookout at your local boutiques. This sweater is from Gilt. It is ribbed and the sleeves seem to have that balloon effect that is really on trend this year. It is inexpensive and has a great fit.

This sweater is from Dreamers, so it is the same brand as mine, but a different color. I have linked it and maybe you can see if they have the color I have on in this photo. Best thing about the price, it is under $30!!!!

I love this sweater. It has the big arms and has more of a poncho feel. The material is super soft and the cowl neck is even better because it comes no where near your face!! It is from a company called Three Dots and is sold at Bloomingdales.

This last one is from Express. Talk about soft, this one is super soft. It feels like those pajamas you never want to take off. It is less than $50, so check it out.

The jeans are my favorite skinny jeans from Loft. They are the curvy skinny, so if you have hips, there is no muffin top. I love Loft jeans and I think it is because they were one of the first companies to come up with curvy skinny jeans. Before they came out with them, I would try on skinny jeans, but they did not fit well in the middle area and they were anything but comfortable. These fit great and I can wear them everyday. They are not cheap, but if you find them on sale, which Loft has all of the time, you can get them at a lower price. They are very much worth the regular price, so I encourage you to get them if you want them.

The boots are my favorite part of this outfit. They are a great pair of over the knee boots from Steve Madden. These were not cheap, but they are so comfortable, they are worth the price tag. They are made to last and you will have them for a long time. They have a heel, but it is not too high. One thing I love about over the knee boots, is a good heel. For some reason, I think a longer boot looks better with a heel and these are no exception. They are made from a great brown suede with zippers from half way down the shin to the base of the boot. I have paired mine with skinny jeans and I will probably pair them with leggings. I like the look of over the knee boots with a shorter dress, but since I am over 40, that might be pushing it.

The hat is from Dirt Cheap. I never shop there, but I went in to get a Christmas tree and came out with this hat. It is great and fits perfect on my head. I have linked a similar hat at a great price, so check it out.

I love this outfit and cannot wait to wear it more as the weather gets cooler.
