My Favorite Slip On Sneakers
One thing I am crushing on is sneakers. Yes, even those that look like something my grandfather wore after he mowed the lawn. You know, the slip-on style that has all of a sudden become a must-have in every wardrobe.
Slip-on sneakers are so easy to add to an outfit and they just do not seem to be going out of style any time soon. I like to wear mine with a casual look of leggings and a t-shirt or big sweater. They even look great with jeans and another casual top. Do you have a fun t-shirt dress? You can just toss the sneakers on with that. They are so versatile and you can just slip them on with whatever you are wearing and you are ready to go.
While I am loving slip-on sneakers, don’t discount the fun styles of sneakers that can be worn in the same way. You know the style I am talking about, the look that we used to call Keds back in the day. The white keds sneakers that we seemed to wear with everything when I was growing up and then they migrated to Tretorns. Do you guys remember Tretorns? They looked like Keds but had a u shape on the side and it was different colors!
The sneaker style is so great and I am loving that I can wear it with so many different looks. It is a more casual look, but they can be worn with some of my favorite clothing styles. Sneakers, whether they be slip-on or tie, are a fun look at add to any outfit. I feel that they came back in style in a strong way and I have a feeling they are going to be around for a while!
