Microdermabrasion and Pore Extraction from Spa Sciences

Nothing I love more than getting a facial! I also like to get microdermabrasion with my facial. Microdermabrasion is the ultimate addition to any facial. Typically it is done before the treatment. The technician gets the tool and glides it over your face. Microdermabrasion is perfect for improving the appearance of dry skin patches, fine lines, and wrinkles, pore size, age spots, firmness, blackheads, whiteheads and acne scarring. Whew! That is a lot! Once that is done, then comes the facial and then pore extraction. The microdermabrasion combined with the facial can bring some, you know, impurities to the service, so the pore extraction is used to help in getting rid of these. With all that we have going on right now, I am glad I am able to bring the spa to my home and get the same service there with this microdermabrasion tool from Spa Sciences.

This tool is just like the ones in the spa and yet so easy to use! It has 5 speeds, so you can pick the one that best suits your skin and comfort level. It can be charged with ease and has the three pore extraction tips for whatever your need is.

What I like to do is to clean my face thoroughly. Once it is cleaned, I like to do the microdermabrasion. You pick the speed and while holding the skin taut, you glide the tool in a vertical direction over your face. You want to avoid the delicate skin of the eye area and around the lips. Once you have done the vertical direction, if you would like, you can do it horizontally. You want to go over each section in a quick manner and do not want to hold the tool down over any one section for a long period of time, that can damage the skin!!!

Once I have done the microdermabrasion tool, I then like to do a facial mask. Since I did the microdermabrasion, the ingredients of the mask work that much better at removing dirt and impurities. I then take it off and look at my skin to see if any whiteheads or blackheads were brought to the surface. I typically get them around my nose area and at the top of my cheekbones and they show up right after the facial treatment. So luckily I am able to get the pore extractor out and pick the head I want and clean those areas out. Once I am done I wash my face off again with a gentle cleanser and am amazed at the healthy and youthful glow my skin has. I just love it!!!
