Lace Pants for Everyday!

Let’s face it, when you see lace pants, you immediately think dressy. Your mind goes to pairing it with a dressy top and finding some shoes with a pop of sparkle. We can also add the perfect beaded or velvet clutch and rhinestone jewelry and we are set to head out to a cocktail party. Now, if you are just looking at lace pants as a dressy piece of clothing to add to your wardrobe, you will probably not get a whole lot of wear out of them. So, let’s talk about how to style them in such a way that you can get more wear out of those lace pants.

This look is a dressy, casual one. I have the lace pants with a graphic tee and a chunky cardigan. I then topped it off with leopard accessories. I find that this is the perfect look for a night out with friends or a casual dinner date. I know that most every woman has a graphic tee and a cardigan in their closet, so pull them out and find the perfect accessories to keep that look a step below dressy.

Have a classic white tee or button-down? Pair that with the lace pants. I am just such a fan of sparkly jewelry, so I would wear it with jeans. I would pair it with the classic tee and lace pants. I would add a casual tote and sneakers to make this the perfect running errands and lunch with friends outfit.

Lastly, I have this winter casual look. What I mean by winter casual, is that instead of a tee or button-down, I have a turtleneck sweater with the lace pants. I opted for a neutral color to go with the red lace and then I topped it off with tortoise accessories. Tortoise accessories and shoes are just so classic! I love that they can be worn with anything and they are kind of like a neutral.

Don’t be afraid to style the lace pants in a more casual way. I will be honest, when I bought my lace pants, I bought them with the vision of wearing them to a dressy occasion. Then I got sick of them just hanging in my closet and I wanted to wear them. So, I did a closet journey and matched them up with other items and now I can wear them everyday!!!
