Kimono Style

Kimono: Rachel Zoe | Sandals: Sofft (Similar) | Jeans: Old Navy | Earrings: Ann Taylor | Necklace: Lili Claspe (Similar) | Watch: Toy| Bracelet: J Crew

I fell in love with this kimono when I first got my Rachel Zoe Box of Style in the mail. I just knew it would be perfect for summer. I like the way I styled it here, but I will probably end up wearing it more as a bathing suit cover up this summer. It is very lightweight and is OS fits most, so it is roomy and flowy. I love it! I have worn these strappy camis before. They are from Loft and I have quite a few different colors. I love the fit. They are long enough to partially cover your butt and they are flowy and loose. These are perfect underneath your favorite cardigan or kimono. They actually fit true to size. The jeans are from Old Navy and are sheer perfection! I need several more just like these. The material is a super soft cotton and it has the right amount of stretch in it. They feel just like pajama bottoms and they do stretch a little with wear. I suggest sizing down if possible. I like this gladiator sandals. They are super comfortable and are from Sofft. The leather is just so soft and I think they are perfect for any outfit. They also fit true to your actual shoe size.

The accessories start with my Toy watch in black. I don’t know if you can get these anywhere but Ebay, but I love my toy watches! They just add enough sparkle and pizazz to any outfit. The earrings are straight up statement earrings from Ann Taylor, last year. I have linked a similar pair, but these are just the best! I just love adding to them a more simple outfit and watching them stand out and capture attention. The necklace is Lili Claspe and was also in my Box of Style this month. I like it, it is simple and understated, which is perfect.

While I was on this photo shoot, I decided to explore a few shops in downtown Auburn. The first one I went to was the Popcorn Company. I love popcorn. Seriously, I just love it! This store has all different flavors from plain old butter to buffalo to caramel. They have several different flavors ranging from savory to sweet and they are so much fun to eat! This store also has homemade fudge and other sweets to eat also. They are such a great addition to downtown Auburn.

The next stop was Steel City Pops. I had never eaten there, but boy have I heard about it. They have homemade popsicles. These aren’t just any popsicles. They have crazy flavors like Banana pudding, that has the cookie bits in it. They also have lighter, fruitier flavors and they are just yummy on these hot days.

There are many other fun places to see if you ever get to Auburn. These are just a couple I wanted to highlight. Those of you that know me are probably sick of hearing about Auburn, but it is my home now and if I must say, I think it has always been my home. Do you have a place like that???
