Accented Neutrals

Many times we add too many neutral colors to our wardrobe. I see this especially in the winter. I don’t know why, but it almost seems like we are drawn to these colors. I love neutrals, but when I saw this hot pink top, I knew it would be the perfect way to add some color to one of my favorite neutral outfits.

Let’s start at the bottom and work our way up. The shoes are Ann Taylor. I love them. They are mules and have the cute velvet bow on them. They are super comfortable and fit true to size. Did I mention they are flats? I love heels as much as the next person, but sometimes my feet need a break and these are the perfect way to give them that break.

The leggings are Spanx leather look leggings. Yes, these are more expensive than other leggings, but they hold you in. They suck  you in and shape you and you just feel good when you wear them. They are so comfortable also and I have two pairs and will probably get more. They are not cheap, but they are so worth the money.

The cardigan is from Halogen. I got this at the Nordstrom’s sale, so unfortunately it is sold out. It is super comfy. I have linked another one here that is just as inexpensive and comfy, so check it out!

The cami is adorable. It is from a company called She + Sky. I bought it at a boutique and unfortunately, it can be found nowhere. I am linking another one here in a similar color. Keep your eye out for this brand at boutiques. They make tons of cute things and the price is usually pretty good.

The necklace is from Initial Outfitters. You know, one of those companies that has home parties and your friends bug you to death about having them. This is an acrylic monogram necklace and they do not make it anymore. I am linking one from another company if you are interested in the acrylic.

The earrings are from J Crew. I got them last spring and they are sold out. I am sure you can find them on eBay or here is a link to a pair from Bauble Bar. I like them because they are so light and do not weigh your ears down at all.

Today I woke up with hives on my neck. Not fun! I have been using retinol on my face and put it on my neck and this is a side effect because retinol is so strong and the skin on the neck is so sensitive. If you are going to do that, be sure you check with a professional first to make sure it is safe for you!
