Exfoliate more than my Face!!

I remember one of my first pedicures. I had several pedicures before. I would go in and soak my feet in the small little tub and get my nails painted. My toes were perfectly polished and my skin felt good. But that was nothing compared to my first pedicure with the works!

I had heard about this place that had the massage chairs and the nail technicians would scrub the dead skin off your feet. Then, get this, they would even massage and scrub your legs up to your knees!! They would rub them and get the dead skin off and even give a soothing massage. Talk about feeling rejuvenated! Not to mention my skin looked vibrant. I got this pedicure before there was a nail place on every corner. Now getting pedicures like this happens more regularly.

Anyway, that first pedicure started me on exfoliating my skin. I talk a lot on the blog about exfoliating my face, however, I also love to use a good scrub on my skin. There is nothing better than getting in the shower and scooping out my scrub of choice. I start to apply it to my skin and begin to rub and massage it in. Then I rinse it off with warm water. Once I am done with my whole body, I exit the shower and I can tell a difference. My skin just feels different, more clean even.

So, I get out and dry off and apply my lotion. Guess what?? My lotion just glides on and seems to absorb into my skin. I feel so good!!

I discovered this body scrub and lotion from Borghese. I love this brand of skincare products and had no idea they had products for the body. You can imagine my excitement when I found out!! I was so excited to try these products and I have not been disappointed! I love the smell and texture and actually get excited when I use it! It has become my weekly ritual in pampering.

This has been a long week. And I am taking a very long week. I am about to get in the shower and treat my skin. And then, I am going to crawl in bed, put on my fur eye mask and sleep like Sleeping Beauty! Hope you have all had a great Thursday!
