Comfy and Elegant Pink T-Shirt Dress

I have a closet challenge going on. I am about to go live and talk about it, but I am going to share the one thing I have noticed in my clothing pattern. I am dressing more in comfy clothes, like t-shirt dresses, than anything else.

I stated earlier that I am trying to lose weight. My quest to lose weight has made me want to wear clothes that are more comfortable, because let’s face it, everything else fits horribly! When you need to lose weight, especially around the middle, getting dressed can be miserable. It is even worse when I have to go somewhere dressy and I nothing looks right. So, I decided to get this cute t-shirt dress and find ways to dress it up.

In an earlier post, I showed you a few different ways to change up the look of a t-shirt dress. This is a way to make one more elegant. I started off with the color. This pink/purple t-shirt dress is the perfect color to take and change the look of. I love this cocoon kimono because it adds something different to your outfit. Yes, you can wear a traditional kimono instead, but the style of the sleeves and hemline just really bring another element to this look.

Lastly, I add super fun accessories to knock this look out of the park. I have my snake print shoes, that are super comfortable and my ceramic watch and rhinestone earrings. So, what started out as a casual, comfy t-shirt dress, actually turned into a more elegant style. And you know what? I am so comfortable in this look!

I hope that everyone has had a good Monday! Mine was not bad, just kind of long. I swear I cannot believe this time last week I was on the beach enjoying the sun and sand. Anyway, the closet challenge part two is coming up, so be sure to stay tuned for that.
