Almost Clean One Pan Dinner

The biggest thing I hate about cooking is having to cook every single thing separately. It gets hard with the timing and creates such a huge mess to clean up. Ugh!!! I have discovered one-pan dinners and my life is forever changed. These are great! You cook everything on one pan, at the same time and you want to know something else? I have created a recipe that is almost clean! What I mean by almost clean is that I have used many clean ingredients, but items such as the seasonings, etc. are not, so I tried to be all the way clean, but I am almost clean!

One thing about the one-pan dinner is that you can use almost any kind of meat. I have been using these awesome chicken sausages from Aidells. They are my favorite and come in different flavors, but you can use chicken, boneless pork chops or anything else, as long as you are sure to pound it thin. You want it to be less than 1/2 inch thick so that it can cook at the same time as everything else. I used red potatoes, but you can also use sweet potatoes. When I use the sweet potatoes, I use a cinnamon sugar seasoning on it versus what I would use on the veggies. You can also use any veggies you want. Look at what you already have in the kitchen and you can create any type of one-pan dinner with any of the ingredients you might have!

This recipe is so easy to make and there is less clean up, so it makes your life much easier. Have a picky eater in the family? Hopefully, there is something in this one-pan dinner that they can enjoy! So let’s get to the recipe!

Ingredients:

Red potatoes 0r sweet potatoes

Any kind of veggies you want

Aidells chicken sausage or any other meat you would like

Olive oil, I use avocado oil, but olive or anything like that works

Seasoning, I like to use Mrs. Dash Extra Spicy, but pick whatever your favorite is

1 – Preheat the oven to 425

2 – Spray a cookie sheet with Pam or some other cooking spray

3 – Clean the veggies and potatoes

4 – Chop the potatoes into fourths and place on pan when done – they have to be chopped into fourths to cook in the allotted time

5 – Put the veggies on the opposite side of the pan from the potatoes

6 – Drizzle the oil on the veggies and potatoes and with your hands kind of mix it up to cover them and when done sprinkle your seasoning of choice on them

7 – Prepare your meat. For the sausage, I just cut all of the links up. If you are using something else, remember to pound it thin and to season it properly

8 – Place the meat between the veggies and potatoes

9 – Cook for 30 minutes

10 – Enjoy!!!

This is so easy and as I said before, you can use so many different items that you might already have in your kitchen! This is the perfect healthy meal and is great for when times return back to normal and you need something quick and easy!!!
