A Shift Dress that is Perfect for the Summer

Dress: Thread and Supply | Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell (Similar) | Earrings: Baublebar

It is the end of the school year, and things are nothing short of crazy!!! We are all running around trying to help our students with their work and give them extra tutoring in hopes that they will pass the class and move to the next grade. It is so demanding!!! Only three weeks and it is all over! I honestly cannot believe that this school year is almost over. It seems like it just started yesterday.

Teaching school has always been something that I loved. I remember playing school in my neighbors garage. We would set up a makeshift school and create gradebooks with our notebooks. I remember thinking being a teacher would be so easy. Honestly, as tiring as it is, I have to say it probably was much easier several years ago, before all of the problems of today entered the schools. I remember getting in trouble for chewing gum! Chewing gum!!! Now, you are lucky if that is all the students do in class.

As the weather gets warmer, you know I am a dress fanatic! I love shift dresses even more!!! They are so easy to accessorize and fun! You can throw them on with fun sandals or heels and add a denim jacket or kimono. There are just so many ways to style a shift dress and change the looks of it. This shift dress I bought from the Red Dress Boutique. It is a fun little boutique with some of the cutest items. I saw this and thought it would be perfect for the summer weather! It fits true to size, but if you have been following me, you know I am having weight issues right now, so I feel that once I get some of this weight off, it will run larger, so keep that in mind!

Hope you guys have all had a great week!! Remember, Easter symbolizes that it is time for new beginnings. What new beginnings are you hoping for?
