The Perfect Floral Embroidered Maxi Dress for Summer Occasions
I know that I have said it before, but I love pink, especially pink roses. I really like the roses that are so pale they are almost white. When I walk into Kroger and head over the fresh flower section, my eyes are immediately drawn to the pink flower section, especially the roses and I end up buying a couple of bunches.
I love roses so much, I almost did not pledge the sorority I ended up in. True story. When going through sorority rush, you learn all about the sorority, right down to the sorority flower. The sorority I pledged, the flower is a white carnation. I am not thrilled with carnations. I like to refer to them as a “filler flower”. So my roommate comes home after her rush parties with this pink rose and here I am with my white carnation. I was not happy. But thank God, I was able to overlook this one little thing and pledge the best sorority on the campus of Auburn University!!!
When I went over to my friend Mary Martha’s house and saw this dress on the rack, my eyes kept going back to it. I loved the intricate embroidery on it and the fact that I can actually cut it off and make it a little shorter was appealing also. I bet you’ll never guess who this dress is from??? I will give you three guesses. Do you have any ideas? None? This is from Lularoe!!! Not your typical Lularoe, huh? Yes, you can cut it off and it comes in other patterns and quite honestly it runs quite large. I was torn between this and the one that is my actual size, but like I said, I love pink. I decided to suck up the fact that this was a little big and wear it with pride!
This dress reminds me of some designer dresses I have seen. There is even a tan one with blue and red and yellow that is so gorgeous. I look at this dress as a statement piece. You know me and my statement pieces!!! Well, this is a statement dress. So, I have linked my friend’s Lularoe site, be sure to check it out and see if you find some Lularoe that fits your style. I have found a couple things myself!
I hope that everyone has had a great week. I am ready to sleep! I know I say this all the time, but I am exhausted!!! I did get to meet my most favorite football coach at Auburn, Tommy Tuberville. He is running for the Senate. I think he is going to give some a run for their money in this election!!!
Later!
