Today was my last day of school, well, yesterday actually, but I had to do last minute things today and be available in case I am needed. For those of you that don’t know, I am an online Special Education teacher and it is just like being a teacher in a traditional classroom, except it is online. So, like all teachers, I am exhausted and ready for a break!
A couple of weekends ago, there was a Christmas market in town. This was small, but there were some unique retailers there. I found this great top there, but cannot find it anywhere else! It was from an online boutique and I cannot even find the card for it! So the brand is Etro and from the front this top looks like a simple, velvet top, but it laces up the back with a big, black grosgrain ribbon and ties in a bow at the bottom.
I would show you a pic, but 1 – I look awful from behind right now and 2 – I cannot find this top anywhere online! I is actually super cute and I might wear it with a skinnier leg since it is a larger size top. I think the skinnier leg would balance it out.
I am a little torn on this bootleg jeggings. I know that bootleg is back in style, but I am a little torn on if I like it or not. These are so comfy, just like other jeggings, they are just bootleg. I highly recommend getting a pair. I have linked some of my favorite velvet tops that are all on sale right now and the rest of my look below, so be sure to check them out!
I am so ready to start eating healthier. It is just a struggle this time of year, but I am determined not to completely blow it. I am trying to eat better and not eat bad just because it is the holiday season. I have learned that I can eat bad things in moderation and that is okay. I am getting ready to make a meal plan to do better and maybe even meal prep. I just don’t want to be overwhelmed when the new year begins and feel like I am trying to do too much.
Hope everyone is having a great Wednesday!

Love the velvet!!! And yes, you can eat a little junk food-all in moderation to keep
The weight down. I allow myself one day a week for junk food! I look forward to that-and it is all in the carbs and learning the foods that are high and low-but I never cut them out of my diet-I just cut them down.
