Naked Soul Beauty
I was first approached to test these products from Naked Soul Beauty and I was excited until I found out that they were organic. I think the first thing I think about when I hear the word organic is food, so I was a little unsure of just how some organic skincare could do anything for me. I mean, I am the girl who gets Botox on the regular, along with other things I can get my hands on. So, needless to say, I was curious!
Below is my review on the products and they are my own opinion. I was not paid for this, just given the products to test. The products arrived in cute little sample packages and there were plenty. I got them out and looked at the containers and my curiosity was getting the best of me. I laid out each little container and decided where to start. Since I got them during the afternoon, I decided to start with some of the nighttime items when I did my nightly routine.
I started with the Sacred Cleansing Cream. This was great and removed all of the makeup on my face. It contains white camelia oil, so it also has a great fragrance! After I had washed my face, I decided to try one of the masks. I opted for the Love Exfoliating Mask. This is an all-in-one hydrating and exfoliating mask. I used to freak about hydrating products because there are parts of my skin that are oily, but now I know that the right hydration is needed in the prevention of lines and wrinkles. This product contains rose bourbonia oil and white willow bark to extract and exfoliate. It also has red clay to purify, cleanse, and increase circulation. Lastly it contains rose jojoba beads for surface polishing. My face felt so clean afterwards and the beads were not harsh to my skin at all, so it was not left looking red and as if it had been stripped of everything on it.
Then I went to the Goddess for Face and Eye cream. This left my skin with a luminescent and hydrated look. It contains East African Niolorica shea butter for elasticity, softness and to protect and heal dry, damaged skin. It also contains Vitamin C, which is good for fading pigmentation and dark spots and to build collagen. One ingredient I was surprised by is the Eco-cert Mediterranean olive oil. This oil is great for the skin and helps to create an environmental shield on the skin to help fight against free radicals. My skin felt so smooth and soft and I was ready for bed.
The next morning, I eagerly looked through my samples to see what I had left to try. I found the Sacred Cleansing Oil for my morning face wash. I used this and I was amazed at how my skin felt, because it sure did not feel oily or greasy! This contains white camelia oil to help remove dirt and makeup with no residue. It also helps to calm and nourish the skin and give it that dewy look, which it sure did. My face looked great. I could not stop there, I had more products to try!
I decided on another mask. This time I opted for the Heart Tight Mask. This has an algae extract that instantly lifts and tightens and helps to increase collagen. It also contains sea kelp to lock in hydration and rose clay to purify. It had a very fragrant smell due to the bourbonia oil it contains for fragrance. To top it off, I chose the Passion Pomegranate Oil. This helps to boost collagen also, while helping with elasticity and suppleness. It helps to repair from UV radiation and calms inflammation. It is truly a great product to put on and then put on your makeup. It almost acted like a primer for my makeup.
That night, I only had two things left to try. One of which was the Breathe Pearl Mask. So, I cleansed my face and applied the mask. This mask helps to build collagen and even fights blemishes before they are formed. The pearl contains 18 amino acids to repair cells, grow new tissue, fight wrinkles, lift, tighten and heal blemishes and fade discoloration. In addition to containing pearl, it contains wild orchid and passion flower. My skin felt so radiant after I had used it.
Last but not least was the Aligned Night Serum. It has a pomegranate extract, kinetin, Vitamin C and sea kelp. These help to fight free radicals, boost collagen, increase elasticity and suppleness and hydration. It also helps to reduce wrinkles with continued use. Did you know the sea kelp is the natural version of Retin A??
I loved these products from Naked Soul Beauty. But here is the truth, I was given a sample that for most of the products was one application, and we all know that you can’t really tell a whole lot after one application. My skin felt good and it looked good, but to keep this up, I really need to try this for 30 days or at least two weeks. The results I am telling you about are the truth and I would love to know how these work in the long run versus my inorganic products that I use. Do any of you use organic skincare? Can you tell a difference?
Anyway, who knows? Maybe I will get the full-size products and test them for a longer period. For now, this is my review. Be on the lookout for more reviews of different products.
