Straw Bags for Days and on Sale!!

My first experience with straw bags was when I was in high school. My grandparents went to the Bahamas and brought me back a huge straw bag with my name on it. I was so excited. It had that colored straw design on it, you know the Nassau is on it and pretty much looks crooked, along with some make shift flowers. Still, it was so cute and fun to get from there. I loved it and carried it to school. I was made fun of because people just don’t do different in high school, and high school in the 80’s was much worse than today!

I still loved it and carried it, but it ended up becoming more of a bag for the pool versus anything else. Let’s face it, I was way ahead of my time! Ever since then, I have always loved straw bags. There were several years where the only place you could buy a straw bag was the Bahamas, but times have changed and now they are everywhere and even top designers have their version of a straw bag.

I have fallen in love with several straw bags recently. I actually have four!!! Two are mainly for the beach and I have a tote and a clutch. This year I have noticed many more that are just so cool and fun and are must-haves to my wardrobe. These are not just for everyday or for running errands, these can be for dressier occasions also. So, be sure to add a straw bag to your wardrobe. You just never know what it can add to your outfit.
