Saturday Surprises

I had planned on doing a Friday Finds yesterday and I was actually going to do a try-on session, but I went to lunch and blew my diet on a burger and fries! It was good, but it left me feeling a little bloated and not really into trying on clothes. So, instead I just went to see what I could find.

I live in a small town and we don’t have many shopping options besides boutiques. Our best bet for a department store is Dillard’s. I like Dillard’s because they do have a few brands that are different and are really on trend and stylish. They have everything you need when in a pinch and a great shoe department also. So, while we don’t have many shopping options in Auburn, Alabama, there are enough to keep even the most avid shopper busy on a rainy day!

We headed to Dillard’s, who is having 30% off sale prices right now. Like other big sales, there are a lot of winter clothes that are marked down 60-65% off and take an extra 30% off, so you can stock up for that season. Anyway, I was walking around the store and I discovered this fab clothing line called A Loves A. I mean they had the cutest things. There were at least 5 racks dedicated to them and I could have posted a lot more, but these were my favorites. Even the basic white tops have little details like ruffled sleeves and cut-outs that set them apart from the rest. The jeans are very true to size and so are the tops, so keep that in mind when shopping. Even if you don’t live by a Dillard’s, you can check them out online.
