Mad for Plaid
I am just mad about plaid. I have always loved it, but this year it is way hot. I have picked a few of my favorites to talk to you about today, but trust me, there is so much more out there! You can get anything from scarves, to shoes, to pajamas, pretty much anything you want, you can get in plaid.
One – I love off the shoulder tops. I know the weather might not favor them in the winter, but you can throw a shawl over them and wear them for a special occasion such as a Christmas party. This one is from Loft and is 40% off. Loft tops tend to run a little large, so keep that in mind if you are ordering online.
Two – This skirt is too cute! This plaid is also one of my favorites and just speaks holiday season to me. It is a pleated skirt with an elastic waist band. I have trouble wearing these because I do have hips and the pleats tend to accentuate them. Not everyone feels this way, but I do, so I usually stay away from them. This is from J. Crew Factory and is 25% right now. J. Crew usually runs true to size, so keep that in mind.
Three – Everyone needs a plaid shirt in their wardrobe. This one is a great plaid for the holidays. It is from Old Navy and right now they are having 30% off everything. Old Navy runs true to size, so if ordering online, keep that in mind. It comes in seven different colors, so if this is not a plaid you can live with, I am sure there is one that you can.
Four – You can even get a plaid shirtdress. I love a shirtdress. You can dress it up or down, and it is usually so comfortable. I got this from Old Navy. It is 30% off right now and fits true to size. It also comes in four different colors, so check them out.
Five – This is another plaid shirt from J. Crew factory. This one has more of an A-line fit. I actually love this style. It is a little short, but not like a mini skirt. I pair mine with tights and I feel that takes away from the length. I love this buffalo check and it is 25% off right now.
Six – I love this plaid vest. I think everyone should have a puffer vest in their wardrobe and they have come a long way from the boring ones that used to only be available. This one is great. It is from Old Navy and is on sale for $15 right now!!! There are other colors, but the plaid is something that really sticks out to me.
