Leopard Print and Hot Pink!

My love for leopard print goes way back. Like I wore leopard, before leopard was cool! Back a long time ago, it was more or less a print more for a “lady of the night” than for someone to just toss on for an everyday look. I didn’t care, I wore it anyway! The one fashion mistake I ever made with it, not accenting it with any color. Let’s face it, while I did have great fashion sense and I was a little bit of a risk taker, accenting my animal prints with colors was unchartered territory for me. That is, until now.

I have discovered this whole world of adding color to neutrals. I like to add pretty much any color. Yes, I like reds and pinks, but I have added yellow and orange and even blue before!! The color adds a whole new look to the print.

I got this dress from a boutique and I love it. It fits very true to size with a ton of room to grow. You could possibly size down if you wanted. Since I got this dress from a boutique and I cannot find it anywhere, I have linked several from ASOS that are similar. Since this brand that I have is more of a juniors sized brand and so is ASOS, the sizing is probably quite similar. They have other styles of animal print, so be sure to check out their site.

These shoes were my first designer shoes, Kate Spade. I remember when I would scour Ebay for designer clothes. Well, I was on a Kate Spade kick, so I ventured onto Ebay, did some searching and found these shoes. I have never been able to part with them, and I am glad I still have them.

So this past weekend was my birthday and it was the best one I have had in a couple of years. I really didn’t do anything too crazy, but I was remembered a bunch by my great family and friends. Social media can be rough, but those Facebook birthday’s sure do make it worth while. But now it is over and I am another year older and I have a crazy week this week! I made it through Monday and I feel like I can conquer the world! I hope everyone else has had a great Monday also!!!
