How to Style an Animal Print Midi Skirt
Styling an animal print midi skirt does not have to be difficult. Sure, we can always play it safe and keep the top neutral, but I decided to take a different approach. I had this skirt hanging in my closet for about a year and never wore it. I have just felt so chunky and well, since I work from home mostly, my wardrobe consists mostly of athleisure and with the pandemic, getting dressed up is a rare occasion.
We have a little boutique in town that has some cute items. Now, it is not a cheap boutique. It offers some great essential pieces to add to your wardrobe, as well as some fantastic statement pieces to create that fashion statement you want to create. When I saw this fun sweater, I knew it was for me. After I got it home, I was trying to figure out how to style it and that is when I remembered this skirt, pulled it out of the closet and the rest is history!
The one thing I love about animal print is that it can be considered neutral. With a neutral, you can get something that is brightly colored to create a fun look and that is what I did here. Now, I cannot find any way to link this sweater, but I have linked similar styles to the entire outfit!
