Gingham and Bows

I love a cute off the shoulder top and when you add gingham and a bow, it is like love at first sight for me!

I found this top at Dillard’s in the juniors department. I rarely shop there because the clothes just do not fit me right. Little known fact: Junior’s clothes are made for a body that is not fully developed as a woman. They do not fit a woman who is developed in the chest and hips, so that is why most women struggle to fit into these clothes or they have to size up a couple of sizes. I always tell women to never get discouraged about not fitting into junior’s sizes because they are not made for us! I did size up to an XL in this and quite honestly, I could have just done a large because it does have a roomy fit. I love off the shoulder tops and when I saw the back bow on this one, I just knew it was a necessity for my wardrobe!

I love these jeans and they have been on my blog before. They are from Loft and they are the skinny, curvy with the frayed hems. They are just so comfy. I honestly recommend sizing down, because they do stretch out with wear and mine are not as fitted as I would like them to be! I also like the curvy because it eliminates the muffin top that you usually get from skinny jeans.

I bought these shoes because they remind me of an old silk tie. I just think they are the perfect addition to any outfit, especially one that is more plain and needs just a pop. I often wear them with more blue and then bring in the pop of orange with the fun design.

This tote was one of last years top blogger bags. I love Tory Burch and this one is a little different from her usual totes. It is much more affordable and is not made of leather. It is more like a vinyl. I like this because it is roomy and since it is made of vinyl, I am not on pins and needles when I take this bag out with me worrying about spilling anything on it or setting it in anything. It is still a great bag and comes in a few other colors.

Lastly, are my Lisi Lerch earrings. These are the perfect statement earring to add to your outfit. I was on Instagram one day and I follow some of the cast of Southern Charm and Cameron, one of the main characters, had on these earrings. I loved them. This company has several different styles in several different colors. These are the perfect statement earrings to add to any outfit.

Always remember that shoes and jewelry can really change the look of an outfit. Think about this top and jeans, what if I added navy shoes and earrings? That would add a different spin on the look or even just natural colored shoes and earrings could also change the look. I just love to find different ways to change the look of so many different pieces of clothing. You can have different outfits with simple changes like these.

I hope that everyone had a good Easter weekend. I finally cleaned out my spare bedroom. It had become a dumping room for anything and everything. So, I made it a point to go through everything and get it organized. I even had a bed to put in there. As soon as I get a mattress, it will be up and I will have a place for guests to sleep! Other than that, there was not a lot going on. I hope that everyone enjoys this outfit and has a great Monday!
