Danni and Toni Gel Nail Strips Review

I never have time to get gel nail manicures anymore, I just don’t. I know I should and it would be time to relax, but it is too hard when I have so much going on. I also got a fungus on my nails from a nail spa, so going to get my nails done has just not been a priority. I love gel nails and even bought the entire kit to do at home. I just could not get it right! My nails did not look near as good as they do after a manicure.

I then tried to use the nail polish strips. While they were okay, they did not last. I ended up having to put two layers of the strips on and use a top coat strip. That was costly! I was better off getting a manicure!

I was gifted these gel nail strips from Danni and Toni to try. I was eager to see if they would work and if they would last. They come complete with a small LED lamp to cure them and all of the other tools you need! Let’s take a look!

1 – The first thing you do is use the buffer to buff the surface of your nails.

2 – Next you take the cotton square and wipe off the surface of the nails

3 – then you pick the gel nail polish strip that fits your nail bed. Now, you want to find one that fits good, because some of mine are not flush with the cuticle and I feel like they did not apply as well.

4 – Once you apply the gel nail polish strip, you cure your nails for 60 seconds under the LED light and you are good to go!

Mine have been on a week and so far so good! This even includes the fact that I cleaned my house with my gel nail strips and did not wear gloves. I read some reviews that said to get a topcoat for gel nail polish and apply it and cure the nails twice and they last longer and had a great shine. I am pleased so far and cannot wait to see just how long they last!
