Fair Trade Jewelry
I think we can all agree that I love some good statement jewelry. I am an 80’s child after all! I grew up having earrings so big that they stretched out my holes where they were pierced. Statement jewelry is not something that just started, we wore huge earrings all of the time. Big dangly earrings with rhinestones and they were super heavy! We would put those on with our big, Aqua Net sprayed hair, and we were ready to go. We loved to stand out during those days and with big earrings and big hair, we sure did.
When statement jewelry began to make a comeback, I was apprehensive at first. I mean could my ears take any more! But the jewelry these days is super light and perfect to make a statement in without damaging your ears, or anything else for that matter. I was doing some research and I stumbled upon this jewelry on Instagram and that instantly took me to their site.
The owner of this company discovered it when she was in Guatemala for the first time. Nancy Dunitz saw the wonderful pieces these people were making and just knew there could be a market in the US. So these pieces are more than just handmade, they are handmade by the village people in Guatemala and have their added touch to them. Since Nancy lives in LA, many of these pieces have graced the small and large screens. These pieces are one of a kind and are something I am glad I get to add to my wardrobe and hopefully you will want to add to yours also.

I love finding places like these that are so unusual and I know that no one else will have them. I hope you all enjoy these items as much as I have!
