Booties to Die For!

When booties first became a “hot look”, I was on the fence. I loved tall boots, but just could not grasp the concept of the bootie. Then I began to see the skinny jeans and leggings as the perfect compliment for a bootie. One thing I love about booties is that sometimes with a taller boot, your feet can get hot and even your legs for that matter! With a bootie, that just does not happen! There are so many cute styles of booties that are around right now and I just cannot get enough of them!

I was in Dillards looking for something to spend a giftcard on! I needed some retail therapy and a giftcard is the perfect way to get this therapy without having to spend a ton of money. I looked all through the store and saw these booties. I had to try them on. The leather is buttery soft and they fit like a glove. I was in heaven! I got the tan color because I did not have any this color, but they have several other colors in this style. These are the perfect compliment to leggings and skinny jeans, especially with an oversized sweater or tunic! These are open toe, but here in Alabama, I will still get a great deal of wear out of them. How is the weather where you are? It has rained for three days straight here! Not to mention, the temperature is also like 40 degrees! Such a drastic change from the 70 degrees it was last week! However, I am finally getting to wear sweaters!!!
