My Experience with the Rachel Zoe Box of Style

In the world today, you can get these fun boxes each month full of pretty much anything you want. There are those that have makeup and beauty product samples, clothing boxes, lingerie, books, stationery, faith -filled items and even those for the animal in your life. I am sure there are other categories, but these are just a few to name.

Last year, I was trying out many different types of these boxes. I mean, I kind of got addicted. It was like Christmas all of the time. You would get this box and most of the time it was a huge mystery as to what was in it, so you got your package and opened it up and just got so excited to see what was in there. I loved seeing these packages in my box or on my front porch and then I would open them up and just relieve the excitement over again.

I saw this box from Rachel Zoe. I love Rachel Zoe, she is my style icon and when I first saw her box I wanted to try it. It is a little pricey, so I did not partake, but I have always had it in the back of my mind. So, I saw an advertisement for the spring box and after looking at it, I knew this was the time to go for it.

All of the stuff in the picture was in the box for $100. Actually, most of it, there were two items I got as add-ons. The kimono/duster is from Rachel Zoe and that makes me so excited. I love Rachel Zoe and this kimono is going to be perfect for the spring and summer months.

Next are a couple of pieces of jewelry. I love the moon lariat necklace. It is from Lili Claspe. I was able to pick between silver and gold and I picked silver, because I just got a gold necklace, so I thought it was time for a silver one. The other is a headwrap/choker from Chloe + Isabel. It is so cool and at first, I thought I might wear it as a choker, but I am really going to give it a try as a headwrap!

One of my favorite items was the pair of sunglasses. These are from Bonnie Clyde and they are a cool, blush pink. The frames are flattering for almost all face shapes. They fit good and I know that these will be a staple in my beach bag for the pool.

I also got two beauty items from Kopari. This is a product line I have been curious about and am glad that I get to try the products. There is a great lip balm and a rose toner. I am excited to use these, they state that they have coconut oil as the main ingredient in them and I love anything with coconut oil and the benefits it provides. I have such dry lips and the lip balm will be a great addition and the toner, well, I am interested to see how that works on my skin.

With this box, you can add on all kinds of different items. I decided on the pre shampoo mask and the 3-step brightening mask by Skinesque. I am a sucker for trying out new skincare items and when I saw these in the selection, I just knew they were what I wanted to try. The mask has three steps to brighten my skin and after this crazy weather, I could use something to help decongest my skin. I also can’t wait to use the hair mask, especially since it is pre-shampoo!

Now, I have yet to wear the items or try the products. I literally just got the box a week ago and have just not had a chance, but I will be posting my results in another blog post on the beauty products and wearing the fashion items in my photo shoots, so be on the lookout for them.

Overall, I would say that this is a great box to get. They only come once every three months, so it is not a monthly commitment. Like I said before, the $100 is pricey, but when you look at everything that comes in the box, that is such a small price to pay. You can also preview the box before you get it, so if you want to make sure that you will like it, you have that option also. The add-ons are an additional $30 for each one. The two I got were a package deal, so I only had to pay $30 for them.

It is Monday and I think Mother Nature forgot it is spring. It is so cold here!! We are trying to attend spring events and we have to pull out our winter clothes!! I just hope it does not go straight from this to summer and we are burning up all of the time. I guess we shall see!!!
