5 Most Profitable Digital Products for Bloggers

When you started your blog, most of you did it as a business. You are creative and you love being creative. You started a blog to have a creative outlet and hope to start a business. You have seen the influencers who have fun creating videos and posting great pics. You think to yourself, “surely I can do that too.” Yes, you can do it! And you can do so much more.

While it is fun to go the influencer route, you will do better to diversify your path. Digital products are one way that a blogger can make money. Not just make money, but it can be a passive income. This means you can earn money while you are asleep! It is not that easy, but you get what I am saying. I have come up with 6 great digital products that bloggers can create to make money with.

1 – Ebooks – Have you ever had something on your mind and you wanted to put it into a book? Well, now is the time to do just that. You can create a fun fictional book or a book of some type of instruction based on your blog. If you have a DIY blog, create an Ebook that maybe rounds up some of your top DIY projects. Are you a lifestyle blogger? Look at some of your type posts, make them informational, and put them into a book format. The sky is the limit with Ebooks. You can find Ebook templates on Etsy or make your own on Canva and then start writing. You can open up a Shopify shop, sell on Etsy or even head over to Amazon.

2 – Online Courses – Do you consider yourself an expert in your field? Maybe now it is time to sell your expertise to others and help them. There are many platforms you can use to create your course. Podia is my favorite and easiest to use. Make a list of things that you love and that you feel you are an expert on and think about putting that into course form.

3 – Stock Photos – You have some great photos in your library. You have those of yourself and those flat lays and product pics and you can sell these. Yes, you can! There are people who would pay for those pics and they would use them and you could make money off of those pics unless you have created them for a campaign or collab. I am talking about your own personal photos for those days you just wanted to say “Hi” to on your social media or blog.

4 – Printables – These are the hot thing for bloggers. There are so many printables you can create to make money with. From planners to notecards, to organizers to gift tags, the sky is the limit with printables. These are typically digital. So you make them, list them, promote them and you honestly don’t have to do much else. Look at your blog, create printables off of what you post about. Do a little research on Etsy to see what might interest you and get started creating. You can even open your own Shopify shop and promote it in your blog. The sky is the limit with printables.

5 – Digital Templates – These are great for bloggers and influencers to buy. You can even create them for certain businesses. They save much-needed time and are great for those who just don’t have the time to be full-on creative. The digital templates are anything from checklists to social media posts to even digital stickers. These are all things that are in demand, just find your niche and start creating.

These are just a few items you can create and sell and promote through your social media and blog. They can bring you some great money and even be more of a passive income. Let’s say you spend one day creating and then you promote and tie your posts to that product and make those sales.

Owning your own business is great, but you want to do things that will create longevity with it. Look at creating some products and the digital ones are just so fun and perfect for a blogger to sell. They can create a steady stream of income and expand your business to another level!
