What I Learned in my First Year of Blogging

How great it has been to celebrate year one of blogging!!!! One year ago I decided it was time to pursue this dream of mine. I had been thinking about it for five years and just kept putting it off. I think I was so afraid that if I did it, I would be judged, which is true. But then, I just decided to go for it. I love clothing and beauty and just felt that this was the right fit for me. I know that I am not a size 2 glamazon nor am I a plus-sized beauty, I am just me. I feel as though I represent the girl next door and I am okay with that.
I am a size 10-12, lately more 12 than 10 and my hair is a hot mess!!! It frizzes and I can’t get it to hold curl half of the time and sometimes it is too straight and flat!!! I like to discover new beauty products, treatments and cosmetics and share those adventures with you, along with my love of clothing and the things I find, whether they be on sale or full price.
I just wanted to say “Thank You” to my readers and followers. Thank you for allowing me to have fun with this and to learn from this. I have learned a great deal in my first year and I am ready to take what I have learned and to have an even better year in year 2!!! If there are certain things you want me to look at or try out, let me know. As most of you know, I will try most anything and give a truthful review! So once again, thank you for allowing me to have fun with this and hopefully this will turn into a career that I can make a living with and I will have all of you to thank.
Before I leave, here are the details on my look. The dress is great!!! It is cool and light and fits loose, you could probably size down in it. The shoes are great, but last year, so I linked some similar styles below and the sunglasses are awesome!!! I love the frames and the way they look on my face!
