Velvet Kimono and Leather Leggings
I am loving Kimonos, if you can’t tell!!! I got this one from Nordstrom, but have linked a similar one here. It is different, as it is a velvet burnout look, but it could be a possibility to add to my wardrobe.
I just wore a white t-shirt underneath, but to be honest, I will probably wear a strappy cami. I like to wear a cami or tank under my long cardigans and kimonos, for some reason they hang better.
The leggings are faux leather and they are from Spanx. I love these leggings even though they are pricey. Many times when you wear leggings, you never really feel secure and tucked in, if you know what I mean. The Spanx leggings suck you in and give your butt a little lift. I cannot say enough about these leggings! I need to get them in other colors!
The booties are from Target. I just love these leopard print, velvet booties! They are also super comfortable and fit very true to size!
The clutch is from Henri Bendel. It is actually more like a wristlet. You can fit your phone, lipstick, credit card and driver’s license in it and that is about it. I have linked this one from Target, and it looks very similar to this one!
The necklace is from Artwear by Sally Coker. She makes the best gameday jewelry and just everyday jewelry as well. Every time I wear something of hers, I get so many compliments. Check her out on Facebook and Instagram.
The purple ring has some history behind it. I like rings that are different. When I got my Master’s degree, my parents were going to get me a piece of jewelry. We saw a ring just like this at a jewelry store and I was in love. However, it has a flaw in it. My mom told me that an amethyst was an inexpensive stone and you could find one like that without a flaw, so we did not get it. I kept looking and could not find what I wanted. My parents met a guy who said that he cuts gemstones. They explained what we were looking for and he said he could do it. The ring was so much cheaper than it would have been in the store because of how my parents bought it!!!
