Plaid Favorites for Fall 2020

One of my favorite patterns to wear in the fall and winter is plaid. There is just something about the cooler weather and plaid that seem to go together. It is just such a cozy look. I seem to have too much plaid in my wardrobe if there is such a thing! However, I do like to wear it in many different ways than most people wear it. I think there is nothing off-limits in terms of how you style plaid, so feel free to even mix patterns! Here are just a few of the ways I like to style it:
1 – I love the look I have above. This is an oversized tunic with leggings and booties. This is definitely comfy and then you can dress it up or down with the oversized tunic. I chose to go a little bit dressier with mine, but you can wear flats wear with the leggings or even skinny jeans that will work with this oversized tunic. Here is another cute look of an oversized plaid tunic with leggings.
2 – I also love to wear plaid with sequins. One of my favorite looks is a cute plaid top with a sequin pencil or maxi skirt. I like to wear a plain tee underneath mine because my figure does not really look good with a tucked-in shirt, however, if you do like that look, tucking in a plaid button-down is a great look also. I think you can wear different shoes with it, such as heels or flats and they can take the outfit from a casual day at the office to a night out on the town just by switching up the accessories. Here is a look that I love and if I looked good with shirts tucked in, I would be sporting this!
3 – Casual is definitely a way that many people view plaid. They still have the “mountain man” image with flannels and jeans. This is a great way to wear plaid for a more casual look. You can even throw on a quilted vest to give it a little bit more of a fashionable look. Here is a way to kind of get that casual, more “rugged” plaid look.
As you can see I am such a fan of plaid! It is definitely a fall and winter staple in my wardrobe each year. Since this is Cyber Monday, I have linked some of my favorite plaids from some of my favorite stores, including links to their sales for today!! Don’t miss out, there are some good deals out there. Be sure to share with me what you get!
See y’all later!

Love this look! Plaid looks great on you, and I love how you paired it with the clutch.
Plaid is such a staple pattern for me. And it’s a very versatile pattern that you can wear so many ways. Love how you styled it here, especially with that clutch!
