The Must Have Top for Summer 2017

For the Summer, I love flowy, light tops. When it is hot in Alabama, it is very hot and these help keep me cool! This is the cutest top ever from Loft, this is a much have for Summer 2017. It ties at the shoulders and is made from a light material that is almost like wearing nothing!

The jeans are great too! They are Ann Taylor. They are curvy, skinny jeans. No matter what phase of life I am in, super skinny to okay to I need to lose a few, I can never wear most skinny jeans! When Ann Taylor and Loft came out with the curvy edition, I went crazy! These show absolutely no muffin top, which I have even at my skinniest. They are so comfortable and stretchy and super soft also. They come in many other colors, but of course  for the Spring and Summer, I opted for white.

These shoes are Sam and Libby from Target. They are the straw look that is hot right now and I love them. They are super comfortable and even fit my big feet well. They were not that expensive and in my opinion look just as good as many of the ones I have seen that are from high end shoe designers.

We are going to touch a little on my accessories for fun. I got my ring when I turned 21. My mom bought it for me from Couch’s jewelers in Anniston and I have always loved it. The name of the bracelet is elephant hair. My dad went to Africa and bought this for me. The people in Africa make bracelets from the hair of the elephants tail and this is a replica in gold.

The earrings are white raffia and are as light as a feather. They are from Ann Taylor also! Last by not least, I have on a pendant that you can barely see, but I will feature it in another blog. It is from India Hicks and the charm reads “Hope” on it. I have one in sliver and one in gold and I wear them all of the time. When I feel as if I am losing my hope, as you can in the world, I reach up and touch it and remind myself not to lose hope. Sometimes Hope is all you have!!!

Many people don’t give Ann Taylor and Loft enough credit. They are really moving up in the world and in my opinion, they are making waves in the fashion world. I love them because you can dress stylish and trendy and you don’t look like you are trying to look 25! More to come tomorrow!
