Glitter Eyeshadow for Christmas 2020!

Have you ever been getting ready for a holiday party and looked at your outfit and thought, “I just need something a little more.”?? Your outfit looks great, it looks festive and you are excited, but then you look at your makeup and you know that you are missing something. You know that you need something to add a little pop to your look, but what is it? What else can you add?? How about a little splash of some glitter eyeshadow to add that pop???

Now, I am more conservative with my eye makeup. I mean, who wants to see someone my age trying to do something crazy and bright. However, I do like to add a little fun to my eyeshadow palette during the holidays. I have found that a fun glitter palette can be mixed in and add just that little touch of holiday sparkle that can create some fun looks!

I was gifted this palette from Jolie Beauty and I was so excited to receive it. There is a large number of colors here to go with any holiday look. The number one thing I like to do is to do my makeup the regular way that I usually do and then look at my glitter color palette. Once I open up my palette, I can create a fun holiday look! I will just add a little swipe of the glitter eyeshadow over my regular colors and that gives me the right amount of sparkle.

I often hear that women over 40 should minimize their sparkly eyeshadows and stick to more matte colors. While some may follow this, that is not for me. I think the holidays are a fun time to add that sparkle to your life and you can do it with your makeup in your eyeshadow.

Now, the key is to find the right color. If you are conservative with your eye makeup, you might not be thinking about using any glitter eyeshadow. However, you can look at these colors and see that some of the glitter colors work well with your conservative colors. You can just swipe across your eyelid and you are good to go. Jolie beauty has some great choices and one thing I love about these colors is that they are cruelty-free. That is right, they are not tested on animals! That is the number one thing to think about when it comes to makeup also. We never want to use anything that has been tested on animals!
