Floral Dreams!

When I first saw this dress, I was in love with the floral pattern on it. The pink flowers reminded me of icing on a cupcake. I know that sounds crazy, but I love cupcake icing, especially when it is pink flowers!!! The pink mixed with the blue just caught my attention. This is just a basic shift dress and that is why I love it. It does have a great floral pattern and you know me, I found a color in the floral pattern I could use in my accessories. Shift dresses are so easy to wear and can be worn for so many different occasions. This one is from Ann Taylor and it fits true to size. Most Ann Taylor dresses fit true to size, so just keep that in mind.
This clutch and the shoes are no longer available. They are actually quite a few years old. The clutch is from Boden, and it came out when all of the designers were creating these great clutches with the three dimensional flowers on them. I have linked a lighter pink with a similar style that I think is interesting. The shoes are older J Crew, but I linked a similar color shoe. When you look at this dress and at the pattern, what are some other colors of accessories you would accent it with?
So, I am just not doing good with eating healthy. I don’t know what is going on with me, but my self control is just not there anymore and if I don’t watch it, I am not going to be able to fit into any of my clothes. Ugh!!! I hate having to watch my weight and the older you get, the harder it is!! If you have any tips for women over 40, just let me know!!!
