Blue and White Checked Top and White Jeans and Friendly’s Ice Cream

I am originally from Ohio. That is where all of my family is. When we were growing up, we would go get ice cream at Friendly’s whenever we went there to visit. It had all kinds of sweet treats on the menu. We thought we were in heaven when we ordered those super large banana splits and hot fudge sundaes in the gigantic soda glasses. They did not just carry ice cream, it was one of those places that had good sandwiches and fries, you know, the place perfect for a kid! Nothing healthy on the menu! Of course back in those days, we were not as concerned as people are today. Anyway, we loved going here and they did not have Friendly’s down here in Alabama. That is, until now!

I was approached to promote these Sundae Cups and I was so excited to do so. Not only do I love Friendly’s, but give me ice cream any day! These Sundae Cups come in some fun flavors like Birthday Cake, which has actual cake in it! Hot Fudge Sunday, Cookie Dough and Candy Bar just to name a few. I was in heaven when asked to promote these, because I truly love the product and it brought back such great memories. These little Sundae Cups are perfect for tailgates and any other party where you need to serve something small! So, I was able to put mine on ice and bring them to a tailgate and cause quite a stir over them! So, be sure to look for them at Publix, Kroger and Wal Mart here in Alabama.

Now, about my outfit. One day, I was scrolling through Facebook and I saw a super cute piece of clothing. It was blue and orange, my school colors, which would be perfect for games and tailgating. So, I told a friend about the shop and said that I planned on heading over after I got done working. Well, she beat me to it and took a pic of this top and told me it looked just like me. I was getting antsy, you know, excited and ready to head over to check out this new shop! I finally got off work and headed over and fell in love! Where I live, we have a downtown full of cute shops that are of course frequented by all of the college girls. This shop is located in a strip mall far from downtown and the prices are exceptional! They don’t get the traffic like the other stores because of their location, but the products are just as cute and much more reasonably priced! So, anyway, I got this top and a cute plastic bag for the games! I could have gotten more, but the rest of it was actually geared more towards cooler weather and let’s face it, we are still in the 90’s here, so sweaters are not exactly getting me excited!

This weekend is homecoming here and I plan on documenting the festivities on my Instagram stories, so be on the lookout for them. I have had a rough two weeks with my “paying” job, but I plan on really adding much more content this week! I have lots of PR to show you guys and some fun, new outfits!! Be on the lookout!!
