Bar Cart Styling for Christmas
My bar cart has become such the decorating centerpiece for the holidays. I have enjoyed finding different ways to give it holiday accents. Styling my bar cart for Christmas was different this year. I started out with the traditional colors of red and green and slowly transitioned to more of a metallic focus.
I had some ornaments and items that I had leftover from previous years. And what I mean by leftover is that these were items that were purchased and never taken out of the box! So, I began to think of different ways to incorporate them into a holiday look.
The glass punchbowl was given to me by my mother and this is the best place for me to keep it, so that in addition to the bar cart will have to be styled each season. It is actually fun to style it. I think about items that I already have and how to incorporate them into the specific season and I just go from there.
For this one, I love the bottle brush trees on the bottom. They make it so fun. A friend gave me the crystal martini glasses and I wanted to incorporate them into this, so what better way than to hold some fantastic ornaments. I bought most of this from TJ Maxx and Target and have had it for several years. This means that most of it is hard to find, but I have been able to find some similar items for you to look at. The moose head and bar cart are original! They are still available from the original vendors!!!!
I don’t know if you have a bar cart or not, but I think they are fun and they just trigger such creativity for the holidays. I guess you could say, they can be for more than just holding alcohol! I am going to have to venture into other areas of my house and find other centerpieces to decorate. Who knows what I will find for winter and even spring!
Later!
