Weekly Work from Home Job Leads

I remember when I first heard of work from home jobs. I was a new college graduate. I had some credit card debt and was a teacher making a measly $28,000 per year. Wow! I was barely making it! I needed something to help and back then there were literally no side hustles.

One day I was reading a magazine and saw an ad for money for stuffing envelopes. I mean, this was it. This was my ticket to freedom. I was going to get rich stuffing envelopes. I had to send $20 to an address and I would get all I needed. What I got was basically the same instructions I followed. They told me to place ads and when someone sent me their money, I would send them the same information. Talk about a scam job!

I kept looking and looking and really never gave up. I tried everything and nothing worked until I discovered online education. I bought a book with some information and leads, beefed up my resume, and began to apply. My very first job application was with the University of Phoenix. I went through a stringent interview process and received the job. I was super excited and began teaching for them. People made fun of me, but to be honest, they were a reputable university and the instructors hired had amazing credentials. That started the ball rolling and quite honestly, I have never looked back.

I have always kept my teaching jobs, even when I was working other jobs, and finally realized that this was the best opportunity for me and never looked back. I like the flexible schedule and I like hanging out in my workout clothes all day long. I like not having anyone breathing down my neck each day. Yes, I have responsibilities, but I also don’t have all of that office drama that seems to happen.
