Gingham is for more than Tablecloths this Spring!

Gingham has always been a pattern that to me just meant warm weather was coming.

Style It!: I love gingham! It is a pattern that I associate with warmer weather. This is definitely a pattern that is super hot for Spring 2018. You can find it in skirts, pants, tops, shoes, it is in so many different items! I like to pair my gingham with a solid. For example, in this outfit, I paired my gingham top with solid pants and shoes. This is a red gingham top from the brand Who, What, Wear for Target.  I chose white pants and red shoes to bring out the red in the top. I just liked that combination with this top. If I had worn blue gingham, I might accent that with red. There is also black that can be accented with hot pink, light pink or red. The sky is the limit. With gingham, do not be afraid to add other colors or just stick with a neutral. Nothing is off limits when it comes to styling gingham/checked items.

Outfit Highlight: This purse was the fashion blogger accessory for spring/summer 2017. I was skeptical at first, but then after I saw it a few times, I just knew I had to have it. It is such a great bag to go with everything! It can fit quite a few things, like my large wallet, cellphone and small makeup bag, which I love. I love this because that means that I can fit the necessities in it for a night out or just because I want to style up an everyday outfit!
