Puppies and Purple Cardigans

Lilac, lavender, whatever you want to call this light purple is one of the hottest colors for Spring 2018. I think the color just makes you think of all things Spring!

Style It!: I saw this cardigan and had to have it. I just loved the color and felt it would be perfect for spring. I have never really been a “purple” person, but this light purple just gives me the feels! I shop at a boutique that is online out of Texas called Town and Key. I follow them on Instagram and on Facebook and that is where they put their new arrivals. That is where I saw this cardigan. If you do not act fast, the items are gone super fast. You can get on a wait list and if someone does not pay their invoice, you move up and I have had luck with that, but I try to get the items I like as I see them and they come up. You guys should follow them also. Their customer service is spectacular and their shipping is ultra fast!

I love cardigans with jeggings or leggings. I feel that if you get a long tee or camisole or tank and throw on a long cardigan, you are good to go. You can wear this look for a super casual day or a night out on the town. You can even dress up this look with a sequin cami or even faux leather leggings. The sky is the limit.

Outfit Highlight: I love the necklace. I got it at Charming Charlies a long time ago. It was so inexpensive and for the spring it is great. I love necklaces with ribbon ties. They were very popular about 15 years ago and finally have seemed to become a staple accessory. I have linked one that I found at Target that is similar, but I am sure Charming Charlies has some that look closer to this one. If you live near one, you should take a look and see!

The Biggest Accessory!!!!

Now on to the biggest accessory in the picture, the puppy! I have had a shihtzu for a long time, his name is London. He is a rescue and is a great dog. So laid back and just chill. He is the epitome of a lap dog. He does not like walks and it is hard for him to get around, I don’t know about his history, but he seems to have some trouble with his joints, so he just does not like it, I have tried and failed many times. I have been looking for a larger dog. I grew up with them and just love the energy most large dogs have. This puppy was rescued by a friend. They found him trying to cross a busy street in the freezing rain! I saw his picture on social media and just knew he was meant for me.

With that being said, this has been an experience. I adopted London as an older dog and have not been around a puppy in a long time. I have been learning a lot and almost lost my sanity a time or two! This dog is so precious and I am sure I will have more stories to tell.
